Deb – Crossville, Tn (4/18/17 to ???)

Hey Everybody!!  I finally decided I needed to contribute to our blog, other than the About Us page.  So here I go!

its been an exciting ten months for sure!  After selling our home in June 2016, we established residency in Floria, and then got the heck out of there before we burned completely up!  But not before meeting two really neat people, Mark and Diana.  They were staying next to us at the Starke KOA, and we really enjoyed their company!

It was back to Crossville for four months while Steve had another procedure on his eye.    During our time here, we stayed at the KOA and loved it!    Interesting people we met were Mark and his mom Nellie, Kent and Elaine, and Chris and JoAnn who travelled with their pet duck Asher!!   We finally left Crossville and managed to make it to League City, Texas by December 19th in time for Christmas.

After seeing family and friends, and spending as much time as we could with Steph, we left League City on January 15, 2017 and made our way to Robertsdale, AL to visit with my brother Bo and his wife, Sandy.  While there, we managed a visit with our dear friend Margaret who moved to Pensacola to be closer to family (she is 89 years young). Love, love love this dear, sweet lady.

We left Robertsdale on February 15th to spend six weeks at the Cajun Palms RV in Henderson, Louisiana.  Oh.My.Gosh!!!! We had the time of our lives at this RV park!  Steve’s blog documented this stay in detail with accompanying pictures.  All I can say is we thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful and loving hospitality of the Cajun people we met.  My Mom was Cajun, and she spoke Cajun French before she spoke English.  So getting back to my roots and enjoying my time with these fun and loving people was just what I needed!  While there, we met two wonderful people, Neal and Debbie C., and enjoyed spending time with them.

Now we are back in Crossville as Steve awaits a cornea relaxing incision on May 5th.  I will try to blog every week, as things are fresher in my mind.

Love y’all!
