The Depot Tavern (Milford) – This is about six miles from our campground and offers little parking of its own; however, the food is excellent. We ordered the fish and chips and was not disappointed. They weren’t beer battered but they gave us two large pieces with fries. They could have been seasoned more but salt and pepper does wonders. Their menu sounds wonderful. One of the odd menu items people were ordering was dinner sized portions of macaroni and cheese. The bartender said they sell a lot of that! We shall return!
Red Fire Tavern (Bedford) – Excellent food where each dish is made when you get there. I had beef tips and fries, Deb had a pulled pork sandwich with chips – both done well in quality and quantity. The excellent service added to our dining pleasure!
